Ciri visited London during the Great Fire, in The Lady of the Lake

She also caught the plague and brought it back to her world, where it became known as the catriona plague

“The next place was one of the foulest Ciri had visited.” Perhaps it’s hard to imagine, since Cri had visited/been trapped in some pretty horrible places in the Witcher saga, but it appears this was Ciri’s impression of London. Realities came together as the young Witcher travelled through the time-space continuum, and accidentally appeared in what seemed to be a plague-stricken London during the Great Fire.

It’s never outright stated that it’s London, but the fact that she sees boats and sales hints towards the Thames, and “the inferno” described implies it was the Great Fire.

Ciri learned to travel through space and time in The Lady of the Lake: living up to her prophecy. Although she had not yet mastered this new skill, which meant she had little control over where she travelled. At the beginning of the novel she even met a night who knew nothing of elves, but spoke of King Arthur.

Sadly Ciri did not get to see the great sights of London, describing it as “the most nightmarish of nightmares.” Maybe not the best piece of advertising for England’s capital, but certainly an indication of how horrendous the plague and fire were, and how far stretching Ciri’s adventure truly was.
