New gameplay footage revealed for Shadow of the Tomb Raider

During Xbox’s E3 conference Square Enix revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming final instalment in the Tomb Raider origins trilogy. In Square Enix’s conference the developers revealed the first gameplay footage for the game.

We already knew that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be the darkest entry yet for the series, and the gameplay footage emphasizes this. The combat and takedowns look more brutal than ever. There’s also a heightened sense of stealth and traverse within the game. Lara can now use her rope to climb recently unreachable points, and even swim more confidently. These features hint at a more interactive and open world for Lara to explore, from September 14th.
