Jedi: Fallen Order will follow the experiences of a surviving Padawan
Following the massive tease about Jedi: Fallen Order from EA’s E3 conference, some more details have been released. We knew that the game would follow the events following Order 66, but now we know that the story will follow a Padawan who survived this betrayal.
We know that there are a few Jedi who survived the planned destruction of the council, and that Vader even hid some survivors' names from The Emperor. There are still many untold stories from this time which this new Star Wars game will bring to light. But how will it fit into the “dark” theme which has been touted by EA? We can imagine that this Padawan will be confused about these events and unsure of their future. This, combined with the Force-power they have, but have not mastered yet, could make for a very compelling protagonist. Perhaps even similar to Starkiller from The Force Unleashed.
It will also be in the Action and Adventure genre, so we can be sure of lots of lightsaber action. But we’re also imagining that this Padawan will have to flee to many different areas to hide from the new Empire’s grasp on the galaxy. This offers a lot in the way of new areas and new characters too. We’re hoping for a God of War-like game, but with lightsabers…One thing’s for sure: EA have listened to the criticism and seem to be developing a true Star Wars game for the fans.
