Forza Horizon 4 is revving its way over to sunny, and cloudy, and snowy, and rainy Britain

Few racing games deliver the fun of driving like the Forza Horizon series. Perhaps the generation-defining racing series, Microsoft have decided to take the festival from The Land Down Under to the lands of historic Britain. From picturesque Edinburgh to stunning South Coast driving, it’s all coming to Xbox on October 2nd.

The developers have been keen to showcase the importance of the seasons, and the impact it can have on both the environment and driving. The E3 presentation revealed how the same location could be approached completely differently due to the change of weather - new areas, such as frozen lakes, become available. This scenic change is displayed with the beauty and realism we’ve come to expect from the franchise.

This shared open world will be inhabited by different players who you’ll have the chance to interact with. A new quick chat menu (similar to Sea of Thieves) will allow all to interact with each other and create new races and experiences. No showcases were revealed during the release trailer, but with the variety of iconic landmarks in Britain, it’s not hard to imagine how absolutely breathtaking and adrenaline pulsing Forza Horizon 4 will be!
